they all say you get used to it
they all say it’s not so bad
but I’ve found that I just can’t shake it
i can’t fill this hole inside
without you, my sky
loses all it’s colour
and the gold loses it’s shine
without you, my world
stops it’s turning
and my heart stops itself too
u know its like impossible to find lyrics for reverie sound revue ANYWHERE?!?! cant find them on any lyrics sites.. just cuz they split up and therefore no longer exist, they get deleted from memory.. *sigh* i guess it happens.

Thank You, Clive Staples
The Great Divorce is such a great book - one of those cant-put-it-down-ers. I just remembered today as I was reading how much I love reading CS Lewis. His allegories ROCK MY WORLD! For those who dont know how this one goes, there are a bunch of people who get on a bus and drive out of a grey town [Hell] and ascend up to a grassy plane [Heaven], but reality is somehow different there. Everything is much more "solid". The narrator and his companions appear to be like mere ghosts whereas the people of that land are bright, glowing, and even sparkling. When a ghost tries to pick a flower, he cant. He cant even bend it. When he tries to lift a leaf, its so heavy that he cant lift it more than a centimetre off the ground. If the ghosts walk around, they do so in agony atop fields of pointy and unbending grass. The narrator sees many scenes, but at the point where I am he is asking questions about this strange "Heaven" and "Hell" of a Scottish "Solid Person". I need to find out how this one ends. Now. Heres one of those awesome clips that I really like:
'But what of the poor Ghosts who never get into the omnibus at all?'
'Everyone who wishes it does. Never fear. There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, in the end, "Thy will be done." All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. To those who knock it is opened."
Wow. If having a strange name gives one that sort of literary power, then I'm officially changing my name to Pinky Chucklenose [LOL!! sorry, had to be there xD].

Song of the Moment: Alive In This Moment - Starfield
It's been so long since I have met You here
Since I have said these words or cried these tears
And like a child would come I run into our secret place
And as the music fades, the tears are rolling down my face
I am alive in this moment
In this moment I am found
I am alive in this moment
In this moment I belong
It's been so long since I have met You here
Since I have heard You speak or let You near
And like a wayward son I've come with nothing left to hide
Here in this moment I have come to offer up my life
Here only one fire burns, it burns
Here only one melody is heard
Once again for the very first time
My eyes are opening

Stars & Screams
ok well for everyone who wondered why/noticed i wasnt at school friday, this is why.
my sister and i were in a car accident.
it was thursday night and my sister had just picked me up from work. we were almost home - like only a few blocks. joy was supposed to be stopping behind a lady making a left turn, but she pressed the wrong pedal as she turned around to see if she could get around her. our van tore off about half of the lady's back bumper, leaving our driver's side light broken and smashed. now, i dont know if any of you have ever been in car accidents, but i havent reli.. til now. it was frigidly cold to stand outside the van, waiting with fear and shock for the police to arrive. i spent my time trying to keep my sister calm as she phoned my mom to let her know what happened. "we're all ok but the cars a little smashed up." mom got our neighbour to drive to the site. the lady we hit seemed ok, but she was complaining of a bit of a sore neck, so she was taken to the hospital to be safe. the cops, the witnesses, the owner whose driveway we were waiting in, they were all being calm and taking it. my sister cried a bit, and reasonably so because this was her first accident and it was completely her fault.
and thats when i prayed!
THANK GOD that i was wearing my seatbelt! ok, normally i dont =S, since my moms the safest driver ull EVER meet and plus i usually lie down and sleep in the backseat neway. but this time, my sister was driving and i get on her back a lot about the quality of her driving.. poor. shes careless. thats what she got charged with. it could all have been so much worse. thats what i keep thinking. that thoughts comforting because im thankful that it wasnt, but absolutely terrifying because it could have been. IT COULD HAVE BEEN!!!! OH GOD, thank you that it wasnt, but IT COULD HAVE BEEN!!!!!
i know i had a whole long list of stuff to do when i got home that night, but i couldnt remember what they were anymore. i didnt feel like going to school friday, but i was still planning to, until i woke up friday morning. i was reli stiff, sore, and in a lot of pain. my back was hurting. there wasnt any bruising or damage or anything, it just hurt. so my mom insisted i stay home. i took the LONGEST bath in history! and it was soooo nice ^^.. but i did still feel kinda guilty.. tho it wasnt reli my fault i guess. neway, so now i have 3 tests monday. thank goodness i dont work Sunday this week. dont worry about me ppl, im fine now, haha as u can probly tell from that last post =P. if anything, praise God for his providance of safety! He's AMAZING, isn't He?
my eyes are open, but everything still moves in slow motion.

Song of the Moment: The Artist in the Ambulance - Thrice
Late night, brakes lock, hear the tires squeal
Red light, can't stop so I spin the wheel
My world goes black before I feel an angel lift me up
And I open bloodshot eyes into fluorescent white
They flip the siren, hit the lights, close the doors and I am gone
Now I lay here owing my life to a stranger
And I realize that empty words are not enough
I'm left here with the question of just
What have I to show except the promises I never kept?
I lie here shaking on this bed, under the weight of my regrets
I hope that I will never let you down
I know that this can be more than just flashing lights and sounds
Look around and you'll see that at times it feels like no one really cares
It gets me down but I'm still gonna try to do what's right, I know that there's
A difference between slight of hand, and giving everything you have
There's a line drawn in the sand, I'm working up the will to cross it and
Late night, brakes lock, hear the tires squeal
Red light, can't stop so I spin the wheel
My world goes black before I feel an angel steal me from the
Greedy jaws of death and chance, and pull me in with steady hands
They've given me a second chance, the artist in the ambulance

Jigsaw Puzzle
A blonde calls her boyfriend and says, "Please come over here and help me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get started."
Her boyfriend asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?"
The blonde says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a rooster."
Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle. She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table.
He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to her and says,
"First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster."
He takes her hand and says, "Secondly, I want you to relax. Let's have a nice cup of tea, and then,"
.....he said with a deep sigh
"let's put all these Corn Flakes back in the box."
LIC xD!!!
